    السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

    Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wabarakatuh

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you.

Masjid Visalia was established in 1974. As members of the community, we wanted a place of worship along with our fellow citizens. Masjid Visalia is a peaceful gathering spot for believers in God or in Arabic Allah. We have 5 daily prayers and a weekly prayer on Friday, Juma.

Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers are celebrated annually. These are festivals for all families to enjoy together. Along with prayers, we also provide food and activities for all ages.

We provide classes to learn Quran and hadith (the traditions of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him).

Masjid Visalia is very committed to openness and dialogue. To this end, we participate and support the Interfaith Council in Tulare County. We provide public service through discussions about Islam at schools, community centers, colleges, and clubs upon invitation. We are very invested in the safety and success of our community.  We help feed the hungry through the Rescue Mission Visalia and collect donations to help all people.

If you are interested in visiting us, please contact us to attend one of our open houses. All are welcome!

    Assalamu Alaikum Masjid Visalia Community,

InshaAllah you & your families are all doing well. Due to restrictions from local, state, & federal governmental agencies for the COVID-19 virus, there will be no prayer services or Jumma at Masjid Visalia until further notice.  In the meantime, we pray your families stay safe & healthy InshaAllah.
